GovHack is an annual open data competition. Teams have 46 hours to create a project page, proof of concept and a video that tells the story of how government open data can be reused. It’s a competition, and there are prizes!

Almost Anything will be fielding a 5 man team comprising of:

  • Jason Foss (Owner)
  • Stuart Harcourt (Creative Director)
  • Michael Clegg (Developer)
  • Rhys Emmerson (Developer)
  • Hayden Titmarsh (Designer/Developer)

The creative juices will be flowing – along with lots of coffee no doubt to keep the team fuelled up over the mammoth 46 hour weekender.

There’s a lot of talent in this city and we want to show the rest of the country there is more to Rockhampton than just beef! We may be the 2nd smallest locality participating in this years event, but we’re big on ideas, big on passion and we have a big bag of tricks to throw at an event like this.

The team hopes to showcase their skills in innovation, data processing, development, graphic design and video editing along with their community spirit and coffee drinking prowess!
