Creative Capricorn is a partnership between the Australia Council, Arts Queensland and Rockhampton Regional Council. Over three years the program will grow with a locally owned and produced arts and cultural program at its heart. It will also feature a mix of commissioned and touring exhibitions, performances, workshops, festivals and other events.
Their new website was launched on Wednesday and features:
- A user login and registration section allowing people to create pages for their own organisations
- Registered users can add news events and announcements
- Creative Capricorn can approve/moderate pages and announcements
- A Responsive design technique so that it adapts automatically for any screen size, from wide desktop monitors to mobile phones
- Signup integration with MailChimp for email newsletters
- Social media integration
