Outside the Box

Web technologies can be used to solve many problems besides the obvious. No longer is it just about desktop computers – many mobile devices are internet-capable and well-suited to custom business tool development.

An example: Beef 2009

Just prior to Beef 2009, we were approached to create a software package that would allow cattle judging results to be entered into a handheld device, tallied, and displayed on a big screen.

Stage and Audio provided the screen and a wireless internet connection, and we created a custom application than ran on iPod Touch devices.

This the first time this technique had been used in Australia and we were very proud to be involved with this innovative use of technology.
